1896 Maritimes tour
editNot sure if this may be of any assistance of the article, but a recent article by the Telegraph-Journal goes over Houdini being close to giving up on his career prior to an 1896 tour of the Maritimes after being invited by "Marco The Magician" to perform in Saint John and Halifax.

Biased sourced
editUsing Arthur Conan Doyle as a source on Houdini's death seems really bad. They had a feud. This article also quotes Snopes which in turn quotes the Arthur Conan Doyle book but notes that there is "much dispute remains over exactly what took place". This "dispute" is not reflected in the article. Óli Gneisti (talk) 10:42, 17 December 2023 (UTC)
