Grave photo

I have a photo of the grave. How do I add it here? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pauldroome (talkcontribs)

I hope you saw the cookies I left on your talk page. Did you take the photo yourself, or find it on the web, or what? Depending on the answer I can help you learn the process -- not hard. Yes I took the photos last Saturday. I also took photos of his wife and mothers head stones. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pauldroome (talkcontribs) 06:40, 5 August 2014 (UTC)
(Remember to sign your posts with ~~~~.) Great! Use the Special:UploadWizard.
  • It says you can upload multiple files at once, but I recall that can cause problems, so just do one at a time, then go back and start over for the next one
  • You'll be asked for a new file name -- use good ones like Harry Gordon Selfridge grave
  • When it asks for a description, don't worry about getting too fancy -- something like Grave of department store founder Harry Gordon Selfridge, 18xx - 19xx, Chruch of All Souls, Somewhereton, Somecounty, England
  • The most tiresome thing is "choosing a license" -- I always use "Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 Unported"
If you have any trouble ask me here. Let me know when you've done that and I'll add them to the article -- the syntax takes some getting used to.

It's wonderful you're able to contribute in this way, and I hope you'll be able to contribute other images -- there are so very many articles that need them. EEng (talk) 22:05, 5 August 2014 (UTC)
