Howard - or Harold? edit

London Gazette uses Harold as does Historic England, the index of Pevsner (1999) Gloucs 1: The Cotswolds and the Dictionary of Scottish Architects. A Google suggests "Howard Stratton Davis" is used only by Wikipedia mirrors. Views? - @Philafrenzy:, @No Swan So Fine:, @SMRobb:. Nedrutland (talk) 08:23, 18 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

In the face of indifference, I have boldly moved the page. There are fourteen mentions of "Harold Stratton Davis" in the British Newspaper Archive and none of 'Howard'. Nedrutland (talk) 06:16, 1 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
