Real name or Cult name? edit

I feel the inclusion of the titular "Sri" is important as the title of the article. Sri Harold Klemp is regarded as the Mahanta, The Living ECK Master, of Eckankar. As such he is given respect. I don't think it's a "for or against" thing, either. Even protestants refer to the leader of the Catholic Church as "Pope". (CelebrityGuy 02:11, 16 March 2006 (UTC))Reply

Moved back to Harold Klemp, see Wikipedia:Naming conventions (people). Equendil Talk 16:32, 22 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
When protestants uze the term `Pope`, it is not a mark of respect. RWBro Froggo Zijgeb 02:05, 19 June 2016 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Froggo Zijgeb (talkcontribs)

Is this an article about a fictional character (sri) or a real man. Drop the Sri nonsence. Note in the article that he likes to go by a fake name to represent his fake godliness.

This is a wiki article, not cult indoctrination. Don't like that? Go write an article on the ECK cult website.

Get real, space cadet. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.151.36.224 (talk) 10:19, 14 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Without critic he won't be trustworthy. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.65.100.141 (talk) 21:59, 10 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Exactly. He's blatantly a fraud. Can the article talk about that please? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.151.36.224 (talk) 10:16, 14 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

explanation edit

Hi Celebrity guy,

The title name has been changed back to the original Harold Klemp, but his title of respect, if you note, is still on the bio page.

Sri Harold Klemp's books and writings are listed under the name Harold Klemp. He does not write his books or articles under the name "Sri Harold Klemp."

Naming conventions can be found on Wikipedia:Naming conventions (people). Quite clearly, the article should be at "Harold Klemp", otherwise, when doing research it appears that his first name is "Sri" instead of "Harold."

I know your intentions are good, and this is not meant to be disrespectful to Sri Harold Klemp in any way. User: Equendil restored this...I didn't know how to fix it. If you go to my talk page you can review the discussion.

Thank you for helping on Wikipedia! I've been adding ISBN numbers and other info to lots of articles on here. Hope this helps. Best wishes, KarateLadyKarateLady 16:50, 22 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Defamatory Material Excised edit

The remark that Harold Klemp's "tendency towards antisocial personality disorder is clear" is neither in line with Wiki's NPOV policies nor the stated policies for biographies of living persons, highly defamatory to Eckists and completely unsupported by any factual data.

I've removed it for that reason. Kamandi 25 May 2007
