The intended specification of this article is detailing the K1a1b1a mitochondrial DNA haplogroup, which corresponds to one of the four main Jewish mtdna haplogroups, identified here: http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2006/01/060117083446.htm.

This article details the k1a1b1a already specified in this wikipedia article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haplogroup_K_(mtDNA)

The primary researcher on K1a1b1a is Doron Behar (http://www.familytreedna.com/about.aspx) Here's a list of sources for this page: http://www.plosone.org/article/info:doi/10.1371/journal.pone.0002062 http://www.nature.com/ejhg/journal/v12/n5/abs/5201156a.html —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dnauser (talkcontribs) 15:44, 3 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Renamed page to conform with Wikipedia haplogroup nomenclature edit

I moved the page to Haplogroup K1a1b1a (mtDNA) in accordance with the DNA haplogroup naming conventions in Wikipedia. This is something that everyone seems to agree on.
