Indigenous Australians' genetics edit

I am loath to edit in this area for fear of introducing an error, but while doing a bit of work on Indigenous Australians (which include Aboriginal Australians as well as the (Melanesian) Torres Strait Islander people) for other purposes, wonder if a bit more clarity could be added to this area about someone who knows more about genetics? I think that this study is the source of quite a lot of the info in the Distribution section. Just to be clear on which info (if any) applies to Aboriginal Australians only. In the Materials and methods section of that article, it says "32 sampled Aboriginal Australians from Kalumburu in northwestern Australia and 48 NG highlanders from the Bundi area" - which seems to suggest that the "Indigenous Australians" would probably be better represented by a link to Aboriginal Australians... But I don't know much about genetics and prefer not to wade into this area. Laterthanyouthink (talk) 10:30, 26 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
