Hans Van Alphen → Hans van Alphen – A small "v" is the correct usage SFB 18:59, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
- Comment: Easy enough mistake to make and important to get right, but how do we know what the correct one is? Of the sources in the article, only the IIAF has the lower case spelling. --Ohconfucius ¡digame! 14:49, 22 September 2011 (UTC)
- Sorry, but a small "v" is not the correct usage here. In Belgium, contrary to The Netherlands, these in between parts in a name always start with a capital, such as for instance De, Der, Van Der, Van Den, etc. So the name Hans Van Alphen is written correctly here. I advise to follow the Dutch Wikipedia in these cases. Regards, Piet.Wijker (talk) 23:09, 22 September 2011 (UTC)
- Sounds reasonable enough to me! SFB 18:14, 23 September 2011 (UTC)
