The current article states that 'Schaeder symphatized with Nazism, but was always respectful towards his Jewish colleagues.' In the German-language Wikipedia article about Schaeder it is stated that Schaeder 'was a staff member of the Institute for Research and Elimination of Jewish Influence on German Church Life, where he belonged to the working group New Testament and Ancient Jewish History of Religion. In addition, Schaeder was involved in the wartime deployment of the humanities initiated by the Reich Ministry for Science, Education and National Education and, from the end of 1944, was still working in the Working Group for Research into the Bolshevik World Danger newly founded by Einsatzstab Reichsleiter Rosenberg. https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hans_Heinrich_Schaeder.
