He did die, according to an e-mail from the Society for the Study of the Crusades and the Latin East. I'm not sure that's a citeable source here though, and aside from Twitter etc., I haven't seen any other news about him. Adam Bishop (talk) 11:22, 25 October 2023 (UTC)
