Should the Hammond, LA page say *where* the Hammond Oak is located? (It's on Charles Street, between Holly and Oak.) - Zteitler 21:44, 2 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

East Charles St., between N. Holly and N. Olive Sts., actually (I've added the location to the caption) ... Carter 11:27, 4 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
Thanks :-) Zteitler 14:21, 19 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Is the filming of a 13-year-old TV show really important enough to be mentioned in the introduction? Seems like the post-Katrina population boom would be a much better fit. Dukeofwulf (talk) 05:16, 17 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Citation for violent crime

edit

The citation for the claim of Hammond being the city with the highest rate of violent crime per capital (Reference 31) does not include Hammond on the list of violent cities and in fact does not mention Hammond at all. The reference also appears to likely be a non-reputable source. JGard4159 (talk) 17:12, 23 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
