edit

"Hamburger Meile" is also the name of a large shopping mall in Hamburg/Germany. With 600 meters length and shops on 4 levels this mall is one of the longest malls in Europe. This new name was announced on a press conference on 2010-01-19. "Hamburger Meile" was formerly known as "Hamburger Straße" (since 1970). The center has been extended in the last months (Costs: 200 million Euro) and is now managed by "ECE Projektmanagement G.m.b.H. & Co. KG". Owner of ECE is a brother of Michael_Otto.
