Talk:Halfmoon Bay (Stewart Island)

Coordinates edit

This page had the following coordinates:

{{coor title dm|42|16|S|173|49|E|region:NZ_type:waterbody}}

which was off the cost of the bigger island. I changed it to the coordinates from the Oban page and changed the NZ_type to "waterbody." Hope I didn't mess up.--Hjal 06:29, 21 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Two words, not three edit

Officially, the name of the bay (and the Oban post centre) is Halfmoon Bay, without a space after "half". See http://www.linz.govt.nz/placenames/electoral-streets-places/searchplaces/index.aspx (and type in "Halfmoon Bay" - unfortunately I can't link directly to the search results). Therefore this page should probably be moved to Halfmoon Bay, New Zealand, and the disambiguation page should probably also reflect this. Daveosaurus (talk) 12:59, 13 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Had a go at doing it myself now I think I've figured out how to move entries. Daveosaurus (talk) 10:56, 11 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
