he has been operating his heroin business since at least the 1990s^[1],
was ordered to forfeit $254,203,032 (more than £160,000,000^[2]),
accounted for approximately 20% of the world’s total production heroin production for 2006^[3] compiled by the United Nations Office of Drugs and Crime,
and is the second person to be convicted under the US narco-terrorism statute.^[4]^[5]
