List of Lwa? edit

It seems that rather being an overview of Haitian mythology, this is a list of lwa in Haitian Vodou. Perhaps the article name should be changed to reflect that, be divided by "nation" of lwa, and then linked from both the lwa and Vodou articles?Chiwara (talk) 17:28, 31 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Only Haitian Vodou? edit

If this article presents only Haitian Voodoo as Haitian mythology, why is this article needed versus the much more detailed Haitian Vodou? Note that same objection was raised in 2012. David notMD (talk) 09:37, 24 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

@David notMD: Indeed. Either Haitian mythology is a superset of the other, in which case this article should be entirely rewritten with a small, summary section about Haitian Vodou and a {{Main}} link per WP:Summary style, or else the two topics are the same thing, in which case a title should be chosen and the articles merged; probably from this one to Haitian Vodou. It may be time for a merge discussion. Mathglot (talk) 20:05, 24 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Haitian Vodou afterlife redirection (Guinea?) edit

In the article, the related notion for the afterlife is "Guinee" - clicking on the link redirects to the country of Guinea? Instead of Guinea, shouldn't this be referring to "Ginen"? The understood Haitian Vodou afterlife - as Guinea is different from that (being a real country and not a mythic land). No? Massifish (talk) 14:54, 12 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
