Recently LOVI33 and I have had a disagreement on TBA and non-album singles. LOVI33 wrote on my talk page saying "Unless you can find a recent reliable source that claims "Most Girls" and "Let Me Go" will appear on a future album, they will be labelled as non-album singles. TBA should only be used when singles are first released or when they have been confirmed on a future album. When a project is released that doesn't include the song it is safe to assume they will not appear on an album." But, my argument is that HS is signed to Republic Records. Other artists signed to Republic Records have also sometimes included previously released singles in their full-length albums. And my other argument is that just because the single version of "Most Girls" hasn't been released on some streaming services, so I am assuming that if "Most Girls" appears on a full-length album, the album version of "Most Girls" will be available. We are not the only ones to have been involved in such a disagreement. Other contributors have had similar disputes on TBA and non-album singles in other articles.

Now Can I Log In has notified both me and LOVI33 on my talk page saying

"LOVI33 You have a strong history of edit warring. Your last relevant archive is here. There are numerous warnings, notices and advice telling you to resolve disputes not by edit warrning. And again, nobody owns or controls articles.

Both of you, resolve the dispute through 1:1 discussion to reach a consensus, or pursue dispute resolution. Otherwise, I'll resolve this by self by taking this to the edit warrning noticeboard where you may get blocked. {{replyto}} ".

A good dispute resolution method to pursue in 1:1 disputes is a third opinion. So I'd suggest both of you pursue that path. Or you can take a 3rd opinion me.

Wikipedia is not a crystal ball, so don't predict the future based on "other stuff exist" even though this is for consistency puroses, it can be considered original research.

Now, I never looked at the diffs, but now I see that it's about "TBA" or "non-album single", in which case, I think this is stupid to edit war over. But here what I think should be done. A "TBA" means that it will be on an upcoming album, while "non-album single" is the opposite. So again, you can't predict the future, so the best way to go is {{TBA|to be determined}}, because "to be determined" means that the result is unknown.

However, if Hailee release an album after the single has been release, and the single is not included in the album, then it's safe to say "non-album single".

WP:DISCOGSTYLE does not explicitly state what should be done in this situation, so take my opinion and DON'T EDIT WAR! {{replyto}} Can I Log In's (talk) page 20:02, 29 April 2020 (UTC)
