Where and when edit

The text of the article makes no mention of what the infobox says: that the station opened as Hackney, was resited in 1870, closed in 1944 and re-opened in 1980. No date is given for the renaming. Has anyone a reference where the missing information can be found?--SilasW (talk) 12:30, 5 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hackney station closed in 1944. A new station called "Hackney Central" was opened in 1980.
I would like to dispute that the photograph illustrated in NOT of Hackney Central. I do not know which station it is but can reader identify it?.[[Steamybrian2 (talk) 16:23, 1 December 2010 (UTC)]]Reply

It's definitely Hackney Central alright! Can Steamybrian2 (talk · contribs) give a reason as to the doubt? best, Sunil060902 (talk) 00:39, 11 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Apologies- yes I now agree. I did not recognise it from that angle. I have stood outside the old station entrance where it crosses on a bridge OVER Mare Street and the station was on an embankment or viaduct. I have passed through the station on a train but did not notice the footbridge. Brian aka [[Steamybrian2 (talk) 11:33, 14 December 2010 (UTC)]]Reply

Out of date edit

The second para describes in the future tense what was expected to happen when TfL took over the running of the NLL. In particular this fragment: "service frequencies are set to double to 8 trains per hour by 2010 with 24 new tube style trains by 2008. Station deep cleaning and renovations are due in spring 2008."

I don't currently have the time to research whether TfL met these targets -- if they did then it's a simple case of mungeing those sentences to be in the past tense rather than future. Otherwise they should be updated to reflect what actually did happen. Either way, once that's been done I'd have no problem with the Out-of-date tag being removed.
