Talk:HSR Layout

Can someone improve this article ASAP? Read it as if you have no idea what the topic is, and tell me if you can understand what in the word it is talking about. Aparently "HSR Layout" is the name of a highway in Bangalore, but you wouldn't know that by reading this article. The basic definition of the term is not given. (and "Landmarks are" isn't gramatical). Please, the recent changes have been an improvement, but someone (like myself) who has no idea what this is, isn't going to learn anything by reading this article.--Andrew c 18:45, 18 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

I have been to Bangalore only once and as far as I can tell, HSR Layout is a region surrounding the Hosur Road. I haven't written that as I am not very sure about it. I will contact some Bangalore based editors to see if they can improve the article. — Ambuj Saxena (talk) 18:56, 18 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
Sarjapur road and Outer ring road are two different roads. Yogesh Sawant 10:21, 16 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
The name is correct -- the layout is named after two roads: Hosur Road and Sarjapur Road as it lies around the intersection of these roads. That's why it is called Hosur Sarjapur Road Layout. It is a locality, not a road.. 61.12.19.99 (talk) 08:30, 6 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

"Due to rapid development it is becoming crowded with lots of traffic and call center cabs /school cabs driving recklessly throughout the day." The text in bold seems to be only a general observation, as there is no substantial evidence to support it.
