Hi, I have added the HP-35 legends that I learned while working for Xerox in 1984, at Office Systems Division, down the street from Hewlett Packard in the Stanford Research Park in Palo Alto, CA. The rumor is, an engineer "homebrewed" about 12 pocket calculators internally. It wasn't enough that these homebrews were portable and battery operated; he got carried away and implemented a full suite of scientific functions to impress his scientific friends. When these proved immensely popular within HP, the management realized that here was a product waiting to be sold, and quickly commercialized the product.
