Not the first ?

edit

"It remains Britain's first and only prison ship."

Am I missing something here, or is this ignoring England's long history of prison hulks (such as the notorious HMS Jersey)? Ormewood (talk) 06:27, 13 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Wording has since been changed...thanks. Ormewood (talk) 23:38, 13 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

The changed wording referred to above cited a news article which claimed that the Weare was the first British prison ship in 200 years. The article was cited correctly, but the information in the article was incorrect. I've corrected this, and cited three references to several more recent prison ships.Ormewood (talk) 17:44, 12 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Notable Prisoners

edit

The infobox's list of Notable Prisoners has only one member, Dan Tracy but the page does not exist and redirects to TV Personalities. I propose the link should be removed, or the section removed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.21.233.251 (talk) 19:37, 6 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Well, I know 2 cricketers who were definitely actually in prison there, so I'm going to add them instead. Joseph2302 (talk) 19:42, 6 March 2015 (UTC) Wrong Portland prison, they were in the actual prison, not this one. I'll delete it. Joseph2302 (talk) 19:44, 6 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
