I'll take a look at this shortly. Pickersgill-Cunliffe (talk) 13:53, 29 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Prelim edit

  • No duplicated links
  • Article is stable
  • Image correctly licensed
  • Earwig reports copyvio unlikely

Lede and infobox edit

  • "Amongst the duties the destroyer performed during the Turkish War of Independence was to help British and Ottoman forces defending the town of Izmit and to escort the Turkish battlecruiser Yavuz Sultan Selim to Tuzla." this is an awkward sentence, suggest rewriting
    • Changed.
  • Infobox and main text differ over beam
    • All figures made consistent with one source.

Design and development edit

  • Link destroyers
    • Template changed to add link.
  • Draught trailing zeros can be removed
    • Updated.

Construction and career edit

  • "Sirdar was placed in reserve at Rosyth." do we know vaguely when?
    • Added.
  • "However, despite the..." try not to begin a paragraph with "however"
    • Removed.
  • "in the Aegean Sea"
    • Changed.
  • "on 14 June" this needs a year
    • Added.
  • "The destroyer returned to Malta." assumes some previous mention of Malta but there is none
    • Added.
  • "On 14 November 1922, the destroyer sailed for Moudros." any details as to why?
    • The sources are not clear.
  • "Sirdar was subsequently transferred to the China Station." a vague date would be useful
    • Clarified, but the sources are unclear when the transfer exactly happened.

References edit

  • References look good. AGF for print sources.
