Queries to take this to B class edit

@Simongraham: G'day, thanks for your work on this article. I think it is pretty close to B class -- there are probably just a couple of minor queries to address, IMO, and then it could be upgraded. Some of these queries might not be actionable, in which case please just advise and we can discount them: AustralianRupert (talk) 05:58, 5 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

  • in the Design section, suggest adding a single sentence explaining what need the modified M class were designed to meet, if known. For instance, "The ships were designed in response to X" or "The ships were modified due to X"...
  • The flotilla was involved in anti-submarine patrols: suggest clarifying where the flotilla was based and where the patrols were undertaken
  • employed on escort duties: suggest potentially mentioning the general area of operations (i.e which sea, or along which coast etc)
  • Rapid unsuccessfully attacked a fleeing submarine: suggest mentioning roughly where this took place and clarifying the identity and nationality of the submarine if known
  • seconded to the Compass Department: suggest adding a very brief description of its duties in this role -- potentially could be just a short sentence, if there is anything written about this
  • do we know what the ship did between 1923 and 1927? Was it in reserve?
    • G'day, I have assessed this as B class now, as I think the recent addition deals with most of these. I made a couple of tweaks, though; can you please check you are happy with those changes? Thanks for your efforts with the article. Regards, AustralianRupert (talk) 04:53, 12 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
