1. Well-written:
1a. the prose is clear, concise, and understandable to an appropriately broad audience; spelling and grammar are correct.
  • "She was badly damaged underwater by a bomb in April" which year? Y
  • "her armour plates, which had suffered" the plates themselves, or the manufacturer? Needs clarification. Y
1b. it complies with the Manual of Style guidelines for lead sections, layout, words to watch, fiction, and list incorporation.
  • there are quite a few examples of overlinking, starting with Home Fleet in the lead, island, Ark Royal, Naval mine, Corsair, Sumatra, Indefatigable, bridge, Firefly, tugboat, 814 and 824 Sqns Y
  • The paragraph starting "On 7 January 1941" is very long, I suggest breaking it up a bit for readability
2. Verifiable with no original research:
2a. it contains a list of all references (sources of information), presented in accordance with the layout style guideline.
2b. reliable sources are cited inline. All content that could reasonably be challenged, except for plot summaries and that which summarizes cited content elsewhere in the article, must be cited no later than the end of the paragraph (or line if the content is not in prose).
  • "She was nicknamed "Lusty" by the men who served in her." is uncited Y
2c. it contains no original research.
3. Broad in its coverage:
3a. it addresses the main aspects of the topic.
3b. it stays focused on the topic without going into unnecessary detail (see summary style).
  4. Neutral: it represents viewpoints fairly and without editorial bias, giving due weight to each.
  5. Stable: it does not change significantly from day to day because of an ongoing edit war or content dispute.
6. Illustrated, if possible, by media such as images, video, or audio:
6a. media are tagged with their copyright statuses, and valid non-free use rationales are provided for non-free content.
  • File:Jetlanding.jpg doesn't appear to have a valid licence. Y
6b. media are relevant to the topic, and have suitable captions.
  7. Overall assessment. Listed, all comments addressed

  • suggestion only - the range data would be better placed in a small table
  • given the significant variation, perhaps the range of complements should be included in the infobox
  • how many boilers? 8 in the infobox, 6 in the text Y
  • no alt text on images (not a GAN requirement, suggestion only)

I think that I've dealt with all of these. See if there's anything that I missed. The infobox only covers the ship's data as built. Why do you think that the license for jetlanding.jpg is invalid? The photo is not one that appears to be copied from a book, at least none of the books that I checked on the Attacker, and appears to have been shot by a guy doing his National Service at that time. He seems to have digitized it by simply shooting a photo of the original.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 18:52, 12 June 2014 (UTC) Ok, I'm happy with that, makes sense. Listing.
