HMS Grafton (F80) → Almirante Lynch (FF-07) – This is a warship formerly known as HMS Grafton, but acquired by the Chilean Navy in 2007 and renamed Almirante Lynch. Almirante Lynch is her current name. I'm unable to move the page because the target page already exists as a redirect. - Technically, the article would be named Chilean frigate Almirante Lynch (FF-07) per WP:NC-SHIPS on article names for navies without prefixes. Llammakey (talk) 01:28, 25 January 2024 (UTC)
- Weak oppose. Also per WP:NC-SHIPS "
An article about a ship that changed name or nationality should be placed at the best-known name, with a redirect from the other name

At present, based on article content (and for readers of enWP), HMS Grafton remains the best-known name, but not as strongly so as in parallel requests at Talk:HMS Marlborough (F233) and Talk:HMS Norfolk (F230).
