Contradiction between articles

I note that the boats nickname is spelt CONKS in reality Conx was the spelling used by the crew.

I don't claim to know the facts, but I noticed that this article states "The two escorting destroyers fled the scene under fear of further attack", while the article on the ARA General Belgrano indicate the destroyers were unaware of what had happened to the Belgrano. - Andrew8 02:21, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

Additionally, the article states that she sank the ARA General Belgrano with two mark 8 torpedoes, yet the article on the General Belgrano states that three torpedoes were used. Can anyone get a citation and correct one of these (or both) articles? Scoochi2 (talk) 09:53, 21 April 2009 (UTC)

The third torpedo missed the Belgrano, instead it continued on to hit one of the escorts and although it failed to explode the impact was felt within the ship which is why they and the other escort withdrew from the area.

Whether 'convenient' or not, ship's log books are confidential and would not be released to anyone who did not have a good and legitimate reason to see them.

Only two sub kills since WW2?

The article states, in a footnote, "The only other submarine to sink a warship since World War II is the Pakistani Navy's PNS Hangor." It is widely believed (and this belief is more than adequately published in reliable sources) that the Republic of Korea Ship Cheonan was torpedoed by an unknown North Korean midget submarine, and this is reported in the Wikipedia article on the Cheonan. This means that at least one other sub has probably sunk a warship, and although we don't know which one it surely deserves a mention. 91.85.36.107 (talk) 08:49, 2 April 2012 (UTC)
