Prose suggestions

• "King George V class was powered by two sets of Parsons direct-drive steam turbines, " perhaps "ships of the King George V class were powered by two sets of Parsons direct-drive steam turbines," or else simply the King George Vs were powered by two sets of Parsons direct-drive steam turbines.
• "By April 1917, the 4-inch guns had been removed from the hull casemates as they were frequently unusable in heavy seas." Might wish to add in salutary in front of "4 inch guns".
  • They weren't saluting guns.
• "and was reduced to reserve" perhaps "and was put into the reserve fleet".
  • "Placed in" works better, IMO.
