Wrong dates; 1943 for a 1995 ship? edit

HMCS Winnipeg

Laid down 20 March 1993 Launched 5 December 1994 Commissioned 23 June 1995

Honours and awards Atlantic 1943–45, Arabian Sea[1]

The 1943-45 honours are from the previous HMCS Winnipeg, an Algerine class Minesweeper. Honours follow the name of the unit, therefore the current HMCS Winnipeg is recognized for honours from WW2. Wyattr55123 (talk) 02:43, 13 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Penang edit

According to the New Strait Times here here, Winnipeg visited Penang, while Regina and Ottawa visited Port Klang. Llammakey (talk) 17:35, 9 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
