• Did he really was born in Vila do Conde?! This is hard, he is from Caxinas, that is, he is of Poveiro descent living in Vila do Conde (as the surname "Postiga" suggest), and probably has born in Póvoa de Varzim's hospital, but maybe his naturality is really Vila do Conde. --Pedro 11:59, 18 August 2006 (UTC)

• well, AFAIK the English wikipedia (EDIT: seen it know, it is for a long time Vila do Conde) along with the German ones already had Povoa de Varzim as birthplace, Vila do Conde idea must had come from influence from Portuguese wikipedians or newspapers when he stated he is from Caxinas, which using average knowledge from the reality of the region, but lacking deeper understanding, putted Vila do Conde as his birthplace. Buy Option

It's the third time Postiga leaves Portugal, and each time he returned back to Porto. I think we'll have to wait until the terms of Postiga's deal with Panathinaikos are disclosed, though Greek media report there will be a 4 million Euro buy option. International goals
