@Ddum5347: can you point us to the relevant guideline that you were looking to, when you moved this article from the most commonly used unambiguous name, eg Gymnogyps varonai? Extinct taxa, with a few exception are NOT at vernacular names, because they are rarely used and more likely to be ambiguous.--Kevmin§ 02:56, 10 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
