It does not necessarily need deletion if it can be shown to meet the criteria for notability for Academics. See Wikipedia:Notability (academics). the 2/10 poster is correct; I did create this page to publish general information, then current but no longer, about myself. I am perfectly happy to have it either improved or deleted by the esteemed wiki community. I personally have no intention of working on it.
