Complete rewrite
I have just finished with a complete rewrite of this page seeing that the past revision was unsourced and little more than a stub itself. I do ask that any further additions are properly referenced especially when it comes to Laliberté's poker playing. Trusilver 19:48, 15 July 2007 (UTC)
Photo
Since this gent is best known as a businessman/entertainer it would be good if we could get a free image of him not at the poker table for the infobox. Anyone? --kingboyk 12:49, 4 December 2007 (UTC)

- When I expanded this article a year or so back I made a couple calls and sent a few emails to Cirque in an attempt to get authorization for a photo for this article. Unfortunately, they only provide photos when an interview is performed. I think I'm going to be reduced to waiting until the next time he's in Vegas and then going all paparazzi on him. Cirque section

Poker in the Lead
Makes no sense to have poker as the image but not in the lead. So either somebody remove that image or somebody put poker in the lead. I nominate poker in the lead. If one of these changes are not made I will WP:BE BOLD and add poker to the lead myself DegenFarang (talk) 19:02, 27 January 2009 (UTC)
- The image is of him playing poker because it is the one free use image that anyone has been able to find of him so far. Putting a mention of him playing poker in the lead would be ridiculous. Trusilver 20:46, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
Legal Issues?
i know there is a gag order re the lawsuit in quebec, but does wikipedia have to adhere to that (seeing as it is not canadian-based)? i am afeared to put more details in case it is indeed restricted under the gag order. Mrs smartygirl (talk) 01:47, 16 September 2009 (UTC)
Contradiction
The section "Early years" says that Laliberté was asked to perform at "Quebec's 450th anniversary celebration", whereas the section "Cirque du Soleil" says that he performed at "Quebec's 375th anniversary celebration" (permanent link). 94.212.31.237 (talk) 14:34, 29 September 2009 (UTC)
