Different translation of A Generation edit

I'm not sure of the source of the current translation of Gu's 1979 poem, but I'm sort of partial to this translation:

"Even with these dark eyes, a gift of the dark night I go to seek the shining light"

(Original: 黑夜給了我黑色的眼睛 / 我卻用它尋找光明)

It's not as literal as the other, and the use of the 'even' in place of 'but' changes the meaning some. Nonetheless, I thought I'd put it out there...Homunculus (duihua) 04:29, 15 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Section on his death edit

There's a lot of mystery and different theories regarding the deaths of Gu Cheng and his wife, we should expand on that. Shimo1989 (talk) 07:08, 1 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
