This article appears to cover the same topic as groundwater. This particular version of groundwater (ground rivers) may be a term unique to the Saudi Arabian scientific community. While there may be unique issues surrounding the groundwater system of a desert environment, I don't know that the two short paragraphs here (cited solely by the author's own works) rate an independent article. I am not an expert of the subject, so would like to know that is the author referring to the water accumulated underground by Saltwater intrusion. --SMS Talk 19:58, 30 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
Merge complete. The author of this article appeared unwilling to engage in the discussion, and the poor English in this article left several editors guessing as to the true topic. Basic facts about groundwater evaporation (cited by Al-Kasimi's work as well as another independent source that I found) have been included at groundwater. ...would be welcome. As it stands the article's only citations refer to a single author, who is apparently the creator of this article. It needs content derived from other sources--perhaps the author can provide them. 99.156.68.128 (talk) 23:26, 30 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Dear Sir, hello. Are you willing for the benefit of wikipedia readers to hear from me regarding the article: Ground rivers? salmanalkasimi salmanalkasimi@yahoo.com — Preceding unsigned comment added by Salmanalkasimi (talkcontribs) 12:07, 8 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Yes, very willing. I had invited your comments twice before, and received no response. I would like to hear what you have to say in arguing for the differentiation between ground rivers and groundwater. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 15:02, 8 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Dear Sir, hello. Thank you so much, for your reply. I read all your comments in due time, and I am sorry to be unable before to answer it. Your comments are basically: 1. lack of references other than myself, 2. differences between ground rivers and groundwater, and: 3. possibility of merging the article of ground rivers into that of groundwater to avoid article forking. To answer you, I have to till you that Water has so many active mechanisms under ground, all interacting. Ground rivers are distinctive part of groundwater. They follow one well defined mechanism. My Article describes that particular mechanism and its activity. You will be able to take decision, once I complete the article. I suggest you first allow me to build the article in Wikipedia or even its sandbox, and help me in loading my figures and tables, till it is complete. Then secondly, take your time in consulting experts about it so that it is not only my creation. Thirdly, take the decision whether to merge both articles of Ground rivers and groundwater, or just link them. You will find then that the article has so many links. May you note, that in here, Thursdays and Fridays are weekends, while you have Saturdays and Sundays instead. This leaves three working days in common. I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks and best regards to all Wikipedia team. salmanalkasimi salmanalkasimi@yahoo.com Sat.14330621-20120512 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Salmanalkasimi (talkcontribs) 13:26, 12 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

I would suggest building the article in your sandbox, and then requesting review from an appropriate WikiProject, such as WP:WikiProject Geology. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 19:32, 12 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Ok, I'll do that. Please, keep checking my sandbox. Thanks. salmanalkasimi salmanalkasimi@yahoo.com Sun.14330622-20120513 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Salmanalkasimi (talkcontribs) 11:02, 13 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Dear Sir, hello. I have completed my article: "ground rivers" in my sandbox. The cave photo, seems to have a problem with Wikimedia, for copy right, although its widely used, in sites for social forums, here in Saudi Arabia. Please, consider solving this problem and process this article. It really needs to have so many links. Ready for any query. Thanks.
