Talk:Ground-level power supply

Article title

edit

Hey, shouldn't this be "Ground-level power supply" (with a hyphen)? If not, at least let's make that a redirect. Foxmulder 02:22, 4 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

I changed the title. Foxmulder 18:40, 4 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Is Bordeaux the only place with this system in use? Because I might reword some sections if that is the case. Foxmulder 19:39, 4 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

I'm afraid so, Nice was going to be the second adopter of this system but instead decided to opt for NiMH batteries.Myrtone (the strict Australian wikipedian)

The new Sydney Light Rail will also have some sections using ground-level power supply. The new Newcastle light rail will have battery storage so I think that is different. Robauz (talk) 14:06, 5 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Ground-level power supply of CAF Urbos in Sevilla

edit

I have seen a picture of Urbos streetcars charging by overhead wires in Sevilla Metrocentro.

second edit: not overhead wires but a construction to charge the trainset by the current collector above the vehicle E235JREMU (talk) 17:30, 19 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
