editDoes anyone else think the pitchfork quote is too long and adds contributes no real information about the band? In a longer article it might make sense to include it, but as it stands it a considerable portion of the article is spent describing a different artist's work.

Fair use rationale for Image:Grizzlybear-yellowhouse.jpg
editImage:Grizzlybear-yellowhouse.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 07:45, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
Gay
editI remember hearing that a couple of the band's members were gay, I just can't remember which one's.72.78.154.193 (talk) 03:44, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
- It is Ed Droste (Source 1 and Soruce 2). − Twas Now ( talk • contribs • e-mail ) 04:38, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
Is it really notable that the band was mentioned on Gilmore Girls? That shouldn't count as an "appearance" on tv. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.14.164.20 (talk) 14:19, 3 May 2009 (UTC)
equipment theft in 2006
editPerhaps someone can work into the article the incident when their equipment, personal effects, and $7,000 in cash stolen while on tour in Brussels, Belgium in Nov 2006. The Five Most Notorious Equipment Thefts Since 2005 Earthsound (talk) 08:01, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
current photo not good enough
editI think I've found a better band photo if the photographer will allow a change in licensing to Creative Commons. --Leahtwosaints (talk) 03:35, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, I added a photo showing the band members and moved the other picture down chronologically where it is mentioned in the text. --Leahtwosaints (talk) 08:18, 15 April 2010 (UTC)
Film Appearances
editWith the addition of New Moon to the "television appearances" section, I've added a new section specifically for film appearances. I put in the few that I'm aware of, any others to be added? Zorio (talk) 20:18, 2 September 2010 (UTC)
