Multiple articles

In addition to this article on the Grimke Sisters, there are articles on Sarah Grimke (1792 - 1873) and Angelina Grimke Weld (1805 - 1879). Historical references often group the two together, so there is justification for this arrangement. However, the original editor of this article evidently copied from another internet site -- while asserting that the material is used by permission, no proof of permission was included. I believe all three articles should be reworked to reduce potential copyright questions and draw some distinction between the two sisters. But, ultimately, merging them all might be best. I agree that having three articles may not be best, but the stories of the sisters are intertwined, so merger would not be easy. --DThomsen8 (talk) 22:36, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

Early life and education

This section has some confusing/unclear information. Specifically, the passage: "Until 1854, Theodore was often away from home, either on the lecture circuit or in Washington. After that, financial pressures forced him to take up a more lucrative profession. For a time they lived on a farm and operated a boarding school. Many abolitionists, including Elizabeth Cady Stanton, sent their children to the school. Eventually, it grew to become a cooperative, the Raritan Bay Union."

I assume Theodore is Theodore Weld. There is no mention of anyone by this name previously in the article, though. Who is "they" referring to? ("For a time they lived on a farm.") — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sweeperchick (talk • contribs) 15:12, 15 January 2015 (UTC)

Re: familial relations - this article requires a rewrite.

Parts of this article is incoherent and requires a comprehensive rewrite. It's unclear what was the relationship between the people mentioned, as names pop up without any previous intro. I am surprised that the highly esteemed and vaunted editors of Wikipedia missed this. — Ineuw talk 21:04, 3 February 2015 (UTC)

Most of the quotations in this article are more than a little extensive and some of the references indicated as their source are dead-ends. Per WP:NFCC and WP:FUC
