• Support- but the article should be called "grills," since grills are not usually gold, and dental fillings is what I think of when you say "gold teeth." Staecker 21:06, 17 January 2006 (UTC)
• Oppose merge. Grills is one spesific thing. Gold teeth is replacement teeth for people who have lost their original teeth. In other words, the "grills" article should be kept while the "gold teeth" article should be changed. Arnemann 18:50, 24 January 2006 (UTC)

Famous people with grills?

Would it be appropriate to add a "Famous people known for their grills" section? I can only think of Chad Johnson off the top of my head but I'm sure there are tons of people of note who wear grills. StJarvitude 22:33, 8 April 2006 (UTC)

What about Wu-Tang?

While in more recent years grills have been associated with Southern, mainly houston, rappers anyone who is into rap even a bit knows Wu-tang had fronts. A lot of up north rappers had custom grills including Jay-Z, Slick Rick and others. I think this article should be more detailed and actually talk about the history of gold fronts. I am specifically talking about removable "grills" because I don't think permanent gold teeth can be considered "Grills." If we can agree on that then we can talk about 1920's Jack Johnson and his gold fronts or even prior to that.

Safety / Long-term effects?

Is there any info on whether grills damage teeth over long time spans? We might want to raise (or debunk) such potential concerns about getting grills. Good article review

Nice artlcle on a small subject. It gets in and gets out, concisely covering the subject. I've passed this article and made it a GA, but one thing you might do, although it is not mandatory is order the reference numbers. For instance "Grills can cost anywhere from fifty dollars to thousands of dollars, depending on the materials used and the number of teeth covered.[2][1]" would be more visually pleasing if it was [1][2]. Photographs Used in Article

I wanted to point out that the language in the article mentions that grills are most commonly worn by male African-Americans, age 18-35. If that is the case, why are all of the photographs included in the article picture Caucasian males? Although I don't usually think the race of a person used simply as an example is that important, I feel that in this particular instance, it would better represent the body text of the article to include more than one demographic. Or, if you must include only one demographic, make the selection of images match was is being stated in the article. A simple Google image search for the term "gold grill" returns images of both men and women of every color. Just a thought, thank you for considering. Opusfish (talk) 16:14, 7 March 2014 (UTC)

The images aspect likely has to do with the availability of free images on WP:Commons showing people with grills. Check WP:Commons and see if they have any images of African Americans wearing grills. I point you to WP:Commons because, unless you have a free (non-copyrighted) image for this topic, that is the place images for this article must come from; this is per the WP:Non-free policy. World War II

I propose the removal of the section "World War II". The burning of bodies in the Holocaust has nothing to do with jewellery, despite the ghoulish penchant of the Nazis for extracting gold teeth from their victims.
