Proposed Name Change edit

I think that this article needs a name change, like. for example, "Gretchen (singer)", otherwise the French article, about the meaning and uses of the name Gretchen, and the German article, a disambiguation page listing famous people called Gretchen {but not the one this article is about}, will keep getting linked here.

Neither of those pages even mentions the person that this article is about. They are not about the same topic.--Simon Peter Hughes (talk) 07:14, 3 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Gretchen (entertainer)Gretchen (singer) – (unbundled as requested). Fails WP:CRITERIA, contrary to usage: "the Brazilian singer Gretchen" = 3,860 results in plain Google vs "the Brazilian entertainer Gretchen" = zero. In ictu oculi (talk) 03:06, 5 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

  • Support. The subject's best known as a singer, and I agree it's good for the title to use this more specific and useful term, rather than the vague catch-all of "entertainer". ╠╣uw [talk] 10:10, 5 September 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • Support; "(entertainer)" is always a bad way to title an article, and all articles titled that way should be moved to another title. I suppose there will never be a consensus for moving certain present articles, but they are still wrong. 168.12.253.66 (talk) 13:37, 5 September 2013 (UTC)Reply
