I am improving this article. Still lots to do.

  • Accomplished citations for more published more books, articles and published concert programs
  • Currently working with the University of Oregon Library to acquire his papers and recording, which include several unpublished biographies. Citations of the UO Library holdings would provide public access.

Notability guidelines for music edit

  • Has released two or more albums on a major record label or on one of the more important indie labels (i.e., an independent label with a history of more than a few years, and with a roster of performers, many of whom are independently notable). No online references? edit

Although there is no requirement for a reliable reference to be available online ("It is convenient, but by no means necessary, for the archived copy to be accessible via the Internet"), in a case like this one, where Short's notability has been called into question, I suggest that it would be good to use some online sources in order to enable editors to ensure the material meets the verifiability requirement. It's a rare notable person indeed, who is not discussed in any sources available on the Internet. TJRC (talk) 19:30, 21 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
