PoV

Anyone else think there's an anti-Rusedski biais in this article? While it is true he was never as popular as Henman, this article portrays him in very bad light.

Now I think this article has gone a little too far in the other direction, making direct comparisons to Henman and giving a couple of instances where some may consider Rusedski more popular than Henman. This is not the best way to address the problems with the article and makes it worse rather than better. It is now potentially all too much POV. Added to the fact the article is rather long and could do with several section, it all amounts to too much work....sadly I don't have time to put into this article right now. I think it needs a table on the right hand side with picture and career stats.

Request for wider input on discussion at WikiProject Tennis

There is a long, ongoing discussion at WP:Tennis about the tournament tables found in tennis articles on English-language Wikipedia (e.g., this type of table). The discussion is about whether the "official sponsored name" of a tournament - such as Pacific Life Open - or another tournament name without the sponsor - such as Indian Wells Masters - must be used in those articles. Fastest serve record?

According to the page on fastest tennis serves, he never held it; Roscoe Tanner is said to have served 153 in 1978. Which page is right? 208.189.42.109 (talk) 20:31, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

Several reliable sources confirm Rusedski's 149mph was regarded as a record at the time. The Roscoe Tanner 153mph serve is disputed [2]. Cassandra 73 (talk) 21:50, 17 November 2009 (UTC)

Bogdanovic controversy

Could the Controversies section be expanded, or a new section created to reflect his career after retirement? For example, he said the following in the Mirror, 10/06/2010: " "I can understand why Alex Bogdanovic had his LTA funding cut and will not get a Wimbledon wildcard this year. You need certain standards... if you have been receiving funding for a full decade by the time you reach the age of 26, you can see their point of view. There has to be a cut-off point and by 26 you should be selfsufficient... You have to say: 'If you are not good enough, go and do something else.' There is a short section on his media career, which looks rather out of date and should probably mention that he has a column in the Mirror. I don't think Rusedski expressing that opinion in his column is itself a controversy, it would only become one if those comments caused a significant reaction. According to http://www.vancouversun.com/sports/Disappointed+Marino+cheers+Raonic/4318329/story.html Rusedski was the highest ranked Canadian flagged player on the ATP tour ever before switching allegiances to Britain. Personal life

The sentence reads Through his wife he is a second cousin once removed to former Ireland goalkeeper and current goalkeeping coach Jim McDonagh. So in real life, he is not really related to him. Norum 14:21, 15 December 2017 (UTC)
