One such area was around Sefton, where Hebrew schools and a substantial Jewish congregation started to take shape. edit

The word "Park" should be inserted after "Sefton" as Sefton is a borough north of the centre of Liverpool, comprising Bootle, Crosby and Southport, and the area described is known as Sefton Park, after the very large park of that name.

I also want to ask for permission to use your excellent photograph of the Synagogue in an article for the Liverpool History Society Journal for 2023, on which I am working. How do I do this? I'm at jcowellnix@yahoo.com - and contribute to your work financially. It will, of course, be acknowledged. 92.13.218.191 (talk) 14:16, 27 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
