Created under the title 'Green electricity in the United Kingdom' to provide coverage of green electricity retailing. Indeed 'Green electricity retailing in the United Kingdom' could be an alternative title. There are many arguments over how green the electricity is, and this provides the core of the article contents as of now, however 'green electricity' is the commonly used description, as reflected in the titles of most of the external links and references. For coverage of renewable energy production and related topics, see Category:Renewable energy in the United Kingdom. Gralo 15:05, 3 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Gralo, there is no such thing as coloured electricity. If "green" should stand for environmentally friendly, sustainable, low GHG-emissions, biogenic, organic, grassy, supercool etc. then we should exactly say so as an encyclopedia. Green is a nice marketing term, which is positively received but not well suited to explain something with precision. --Gunnar (talk) 18:56, 1 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
