COI editing/Dated edit

At least two editors who made significant contributions to this page in its early days - and no one seems to have touched it since 2012 -- have, umm, interesting talk pages. Don't want to flag as COI myself, but if you look at the edit history there are some extremely engaged editors. Also: page needs an update. All sources are 2012 and younger. I don't think it's bad enough to flag the page, but I'd be interested in thoughts from more experienced eds, AdventurousMe (talk) 15:53, 27 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

User:GreenSchool.Bali appears, not just from the name but from the edits they have made, to be extremely close to the subject, and presumably an online PR. Flagging for COI. AdventurousMe (talk) 12:59, 5 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Incorrect information

1) under subhead Ecological design. "transportation to the campus is by private car with some carpooling" The Green School Bio Bus was launched in January, 2015 by the graduating seniors as their class project. Since then, transport of students and faculty to Green School is supplemented by regular routes of these school busses run 100% on bio-diesel from used cooking oil. Continued as a student project in the high school curriculum, the first 100% bio diesel station in Indonesia will open at Green School Bali and not only fuel their busses but also be open to the surrounding community for their diesel engine vehicles. http://www.gsbiobus.org/

2) in the first section. "Most of its students ..., with 34 on scholarship." More currently: In 2016 whilst the school continues its goal of 20% full-time local scholars, it supports a community program called Kul Kul Connection that host 300 local students after school for classes focused on English language and sustainability. The school's fundraising efforts pay 100% for this program as well as the jalan jalan (class trips) with the children only required to bring in recyclable trash as their tuition. http://kulkulconnection.greenschool.org/

3) re: Board of Directors. In 2015 Green School launched a Strategic Review process to include members of the faculty, parents, local community and board of directors in the spirit of the progressiveness of the school. To meet this evolution, the governance structure of Green School was updated and made public at https://www.greenschool.org/about/

Thank you very much. We are very happy to continue to provide current information to editors to assist the Wikipedia community. Kind regards, Leslie Beckman Treblejupiter (talk) 08:11, 15 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi there. I have looked over the edit request, and implemented the following change: Added the Kul Kul Connection (note that instead of implementing it into the suggested category, I have added it to the Extra-Curricular Activities section, for which it would be more suitable. I have not added the first bit of information, mostly due to the existence of similar information in the article, as well as some of the suggested content being promotional. The third bit of information was added by you anyway (not a very good thing to do, considering that nobody had replied to the request). In the future, you should wait for someone to reply to the request before making the changes, since you technically haven't been cleared to do so.
Edit: Nearly forgot - you should disclose your relation/connection to the subject in question in the edit request.
