Just to mention since i dont have reference besides personal knowledge - ther DIOSESCE headquarters (spelling?) are in Green Island, There's a presbyterian church (St Margarets/Coastal Unity) on Main South Road and Jenkins St, and a the Anglican church behind the green island doctors on main south road..--XxReikoxX - The Visual Asia Geek (talk) 06:57, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

Split up article into two separate articles edit
Should this article be split up into an article on Green Island the island and Green Island "the suburb" to make it less confusing - perhaps a disambiguation page might be required. Please let me know your thoughts on this. Kiwifaramir (talk) 08:07, 6 January 2012 (UTC)Kiwifaramir
- I completely agree about splitting content into two separate articles. They are about two different entities with nothing in common. I have consequently forked all material relating to the island to a separate article: Green Island (Okaihe). Maias (talk) 11:16, 4 February 2012 (UTC)
