Always add valid references edit

It is very important to add valid references when adding new sections in the text and especially when the new additions cancel the significance of this article Ipodamos

I think El Greco should be removed from this page. He can't be a Byzantine scholar, cause when he lived there was no Byzantine Empire! 155.207.254.67 13:13, 7 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

This list includes artists and scholars that fled Byzantine and post-Byzantine Greece to Renaissance Europe during the decline of the Byzantine empire and after the sack of Constantinople. El Greco is included in the list along with many others that tansfected the Byzantine heritage to western europe Ipodamos

Agree with this logic. Post-Byzantine Greeks may have lost their political sovereignty, but they were still living with the same cultural heritage. (By the way, Ipodamos, I think you mean "transferred".) Nojamus (talk) 17:36, 31 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Arsenius Apostolius edit

As, I understand Aristobulos Apostolius is the same person, as Arsenius Apostolius.--2A00:1FA0:27A:ABD9:0:5E:F80D:8001 (talk) 14:51, 5 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

You seem to be correct. I will remove the duplicate. Demetrios1993 (talk) 19:23, 5 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
