Title mistranslated edit
Københavns Omegn does not mean "Greater Copenhagen", but rather "suburban Copenhagen" (literally "the surroundings of Copenhagen"). Which also explains why this jurisdiction excludes the city itself. 94.252.12.7 (talk) 09:20, 2 November 2022 (UTC)
- In accordance with WP:COMMONNAME we use the most common name used by reliable English language sources, not necessarily the literal translation. So, for example, the Danish Radikale Venstre party is known as Social Liberal Party in English Wikipedia, not Radical Left. The Norwegian Høyre party is known as Conservative Party in English Wikipedia, nor Right. There are only a few English language sources which refer to Danish constituencies but the Folketing's English language website refers to this constituency as Greater Copenhagen.--Obi2canibe (talk) 22:06, 7 November 2022 (UTC)
