This is the first article I have created and I am still trying to sort it out so it doesn't get deleted. Anyone who wants to help feel free!

- OK - first thing is to get rid of 'you' and the brochure style. It reads rather like an advert, and 'you' and 'we' are death to an article. Non-encyclopaedic. Second - get some coverage from the press. 'Man saved by quick response' - that sort of thing. There could well be notability here. - I'm going to decline speedy deletion for now, since this is your first article and you're getting oriented; however, this will not necessarily save it from deletion in the longer term. What you'll need to do is twofold:
- 1. Rewrite the article into a third-person, neutral, informational form. Imagine a newspaper article about the organization; that's the sort of tone you'll want to aim for.
- 2. Find reliable sources to use in writing the article. Preferably, you'll find at least two separate sources that are independent of the organization itself and that cover it in some depth; this is key to meeting the notability guideline for organizations.
- If you can do these two things, the article will almost certainly not be deleted. I would advise finding independent sources sooner rather than later; you'll have at least a week to do so, even if the article is immediately proposed for (non-speedy) deletion, but perhaps no more than that -- and the sooner such sources can be found, the more support the article will enjoy from other editors.
- If the article does get deleted, then find the sources first before attempting to recreate it. You might find it useful to create the article in your user space first; much more leeway is granted there. If the article should get deleted, you can ask an administrator (like me) to "userfy" it for you, moving it to your user space. You may also find Wikipedia:Starting an article helpful. - You might also want to consider that quite a lot of the content you have here is generic stuff for first responders isn't it? You'd be better off focusing on specific things about this group which make it notable and removing the generic material which can be found at Community first responder.
