Question
editWhen people turned in their old coins, what were they paid in? Was it paper notes? If so, would these have not been majorly counterfeited themselves?--Jrm2007 (talk) 03:37, 10 August 2014 (UTC)
Coin 1696
editRare this coin is, on the front depicts the King with worn words on the coin smooth edges and a hammered look. " GVLIEEMVS III*DEI*GRA" is what it looks like?. On the rear ET*HIB*REX*1696* MAG much of this worn. Has 4 symbols of the family hertiage one worn beyond recognition, opposite of lions fluer-de-lis3, a harp, and 1696 above the lions3. It appears to be weighty and silverish in tone. 159.118.36.76 (talk) 17:59, 22 July 2022 (UTC)
