Clark, Lincoln Counties-(SE Nevada)
Should the article be saying "(Clark and Lincoln counties on the southeast)" or should it be: "south-southeast"... (From HOT-SonoranDesert, ArizonaUSA....) --Mmcannis (talk) 14:09, 26 October 2010 (UTC)
Province
Seems the Great Basin Province has been made a separate article. It also includes a redundant section on the Nevada salt deserts. As these "salt deserts" would seem to be localized parts of the cold Great Basin Desert, It seems they do fit here. Problem is the reference cited for both is a "poster" of the USGS Ecoregions of Nevada with some apparent WP:OR interpretation of a point therein. Needs clarification. Nevada salt desert split
A user had tagged the Nevada salt desert section to be split into its own article, but had provided no discussion or rationale. I see no reason to split into a separate stub article and have removed the tag. If someone disagrees - please state your case here. Vsmith (talk) 02:16, 16 November 2011 (UTC)

I've semi-protected the page due to problems with an ip-hopping anon. The anon is encouraged to discuss their concerns here rather than the "communication via edit summary and hidden comments" that is their style.
