Images edit

I chose the two examples at the top because the distinction between the high contrast vector editing and the varying shades of raster (bitmap) editing modes are obvious in the pictures. The large icons are to make a visual distinction between the broader categories, while the smaller icons are for subcategories. Oicumayberight 22:15, 19 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Side Icons edit

I like the screen shots of the design software but why the cute little icons in the right margin?

They weren't put there to look cute, but instead for visual learning by associating contrasting imagery between the various purposes in the types of software in the small spaces available. Screen shots for each example would have either been too small, or would have forced too much blank space with the smaller amounts of text. I know the icons are a little cartoonish, but it was the best I could find without creating something myself. On second look, screen shot examples may work in a gallery format similar to how it was used in this article. I'd do it myself, but I just don't have that much time to invest anymore.
