This article and the other articles in this group need reworking, but 1. each of the novels is probably notable; the articles on them are just teaser plot summaries, but there are reviews to be found for this extremely popular author. 2. This article is probably notable too as a setting, and if done right, can serve to give the common background instead of dispersing it over the articles for the novels 3. A plot summary can be sourced to the work itself, but only if it is purely factual--analysis takes sources to be cited 4. WP does not use teasers--a plot summary must give the conclusion--even for a suspense novel.

I would rework them myself, except I haven't read them, and don;t intend to--and though I have once or twice summarized a plot of something I dont actually know based on the overlong plot description, its's not a good way of working--and I cannot even do that here, for I do not know how they ended!

If nobody wants to work on them now, probably the best thing to do is to merge whatever is mergeable, preserving the rest in the article histories. DGG ( talk ) 03:23, 27 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thats essentially my read on it, and my conclusion. However, I don't even know where to begin and I'm not going to read a novel just to dink with the article. I'll take a look at some of the other articles and see what state they are in, but my first inclination is to delete and let someone else rebuild them without the possible copyright violation.
